My husband is 5’8 and weighs about 145lbs. I think I bought him size small and it fit well with room for a sweatshirt underneath.He skis and we live where there is lots of snow needing plowed. This vest is so comfortable. It gets very hot especially around the neck but you can adjust the temperature as needed. It comes with a portable charger that you charge separately beforehand. The battery life is super long and very easy to charge. I would definitely size up if you plan on wearing any layers underneath to accommodate for the extra clothing. It is very lightweight and great value for the price.

I bought this as a Christmas gift for my husband a few years ago. He's an avid hunter and he uses this to duck hunt in. He wears it under his waders and only has to turn it on low for a few minutes and then turns it off and because it is so well insulated that it keeps him nice and toasty. He gets too warm if he leaves it turned on for too long. The battery life is great and will last him all day. He keeps a portable battery charger in his pocket in case of emergencies but has never had to use it. It is a good quality and well worth the price. It's thick enough to keep you warm without being bulky and is very easy to use. My son even liked it so much that I had to get him one as well.
